Review:
The Cardturner by Louis Sachar
I haven't read anything by this author, although I do have a copy of Holes. Love the sound of this so I think I'll try this one first.
Wereworld: Rage of Lions by Curtis Jobling
Squeee! Can't wait to get started on this one!
The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
I love the cover! And it sounds really, really good! So squeeee!
Liesl & Po by Lauren Oliver
This came with a cut out theatre! How awesome is that? Plus it sounds great and I loved both of Lauren Oliver's other books.
Ninja: First Mission by Chris Bradford (Barrington Stoke)
Sterling and the Canary by Andy Stanton (Barrington Stoke)
These are designed for struggling or dyslexic readers - looking forward to reading them.
And I got these postcards in the post - very intrigued! On the back they say 'THE DOORS TO ELSEWHERE ARE CLOSING...' and gives a website address: http://www.daughterofsmokeandbone.co.uk/
Also I went to Puffin's summer party on Monday - it was such great fun and they let us pick one of their lovely hardback classics. They were all so gorgeous but as soon as I saw they had Anne of Green Gables I knew which one I wanted! So pretty!
Massive thanks to all the publishers who sent books for review:)
Bought:
Well... I managed to escape London without buying a single book which is kind of impressive. Unfortunately, I made up for it while I was back at home...
Jessie Hearts NYC by Keris Stainton
I've read this one already - review should be up soon - and I really enjoyed it! Love Jessie & Finn!
Chasers: Alone by James Phelon
I'm really excited to read this one - I've started it as it's really good so far!
The Abundance of Katherines by John Green
I've never read a John Green book so I plan to rectify that soon!
The Liar Society by Lisa Roecker & Laura Roecker
I'm really looking forward to this one:)
The Day Before by Lisa Schroeder
Another one I've already read and another great read - I loved it:)
Hope you all had a great week:)
