I thought it looked really good and wanted to read it. Something about the authors name was really familiar so I looked at other things she had written. What did I find? Yep, you've guess it. It's the same book my friend recommended!
Does a different cover and title really make the difference between wanting to read something and just not being interested?

Yes, I'm a cover girl. If its not pretty I usull don't read it. Thats sad to say but I also look at what others say before I buy, but the cover is usully what grabs me.
