Cover Wars: ... and Title Wars too!

A friend of mine has constantly been telling me I really should read the following book:

Finding Violet Park by Jenny Valentine

It didn't appeal to me though so I never have. Then the other day I was looking at books online and came across the following book:

Me, the Missing and the Dead by Jenny Valentine

I thought it looked really good and wanted to read it. Something about the authors name was really familiar so I looked at other things she had written. What did I find? Yep, you've guess it. It's the same book my friend recommended!

Does a different cover and title really make the difference between wanting to read something and just not being interested?
