Cover Wars: Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan

UK /  US

I love the UK one! It reminds me a lot of Across The Universe by Beth Revis but it's just so eye catching! And I love the way they have done the title.  I do really like the US one too but I think I would prefer it without the girl - just the black and the title. I do like the glow around the letter O though and the way they have the title vertical rather than horizontal.

Which do you prefer?

I like the US one much better actually. The UK one seems a bit busy / is trying to fit too much in all at once. At the same time, I wish the title on the US one was a bit larger so that the O portion would be larger & the girl more noticeable.

This is my favorite feature of your blog. Thanks for featuring these covers!

I've seen this cover loads of times (but thumbnail versions) and only just have noticed the girl in the O! I agree - it'd be much better without it.

Both remind me of a different book! The UK one does look too similar to Across the Universe (in fact if I didn't know the author of either I would think it was the second book in the series lol) and the US one looks like it could be the 3rd book of Matched/Crossed by Ally Condie! If there wasn't a girl in the middle of the 'O' I would choose the US one :)

I'm with you on this one! I love the UK one! It has such a lovely, rather dreamy look to it and I absolutely love the title!
The US one is rather original because of the fact that they placed the title vertically rather than horizontally, but that girl in the O puts me off a little bit.

So, it's UK for me today! :)

I really like the UK one better. If I saw both on the shelf I'd pick up that one first.

The UK one is definately my favorite. When I look at the US version, I get it confused with one of the Matched books by Ally Condie, only I like the Matched covers better when it comes to that sort of theme. The UK one reminds of Across the Universe as well, but both are equally awesome.
