Cover to Covet (15)

I LOVE book covers. Love, love love them. So I decided to make it a regular post - each post featuring a cover I love.

HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THIS COVER! I SEEM TO HAVE TO USE CAPITALS TO EXPRESS MY EXCITEMENT...

Okay so on top of being SUPER EXCITED to read this one (because Entangled was MAJOR awesome!) I just love it! It fits in really well with Entangled -even if it didn't have Cat Clarke on it, it would still remind me of Entangled - so I really like that! And I love the model - her hair, the way she's not quite looking at you.  It makes me wonder what's she's thinking...

Torn by Cat Clarke
From Goodreads: Four girls. One dead body. A whole lot of guilt.

Alice King isn’t expecting the holiday of a lifetime when she sets off with her classmates on a trip to the Scottish wilderness, but she’s not exactly prepared for an experience beyond her darkest nightmares…

Alice and her best friend Cass are stuck in a cabin with Polly, the social outcast, and Rae, the moody emo-girl. Then there’s Tara – queen of mean. Powerful, beautiful and cruel, she likes nothing better than putting people down.

Cass decides it’s time to teach Tara a lesson she’ll never forget. And so begins a series of events that will change the lives of these girls forever...

A compelling story of guilty secrets, troubled friendship and burgeoning love.

It's published January 2012 by Quercus.

Hmmmm... I actually DON'T like it that much. It's a bit...I don't know what word to use but it's just not for me. And it's NOTHING on Entangled. It sounds great though!

I know what you mean! The minute I saw this cover in my Google Feed it immediately reminded me of Entangled. I haven't actually read that book yet, but this and it sound absolutely wonderful.

I love that though the model isn't the same, both models capture that "look over their shoulder" look really well - like it's not just rehearsed. This girl actually looks kind of scared.

Thanks for sharing!

I can't wait until January! *does my happy dance* This image is a lot less "refined" than the one used for Entangled, but there is a definite commonality between them that marks them as being by the same author - an interesting touch I think.
