Cover Wars: Incarceron by Catherine Fisher

UK / US

Synopsis from Goodreads:
Incarceron -- a futuristic prison, sealed from view, where the descendants of the original prisoners live in a dark world torn by rivalry and savagery. It is a terrifying mix of high technology -- a living building which pervades the novel as an ever-watchful, ever-vengeful character, and a typical medieval torture chamber -- chains, great halls, dungeons. A young prisoner, Finn, has haunting visions of an earlier life, and cannot believe he was born here and has always been here. In the outer world, Claudia, daughter of the Warden of Incarceron, is trapped in her own form of prison -- a futuristic world constructed beautifully to look like a past era, an imminent marriage she dreads. She knows nothing of Incarceron, except that it exists. But there comes a moment when Finn, inside Incarceron, and Claudia, outside, simultaneously find a device -- a crystal key, through which they can talk to each other. And so the plan for Finn's escape is born ...

This is an easy one for me - I love the US one! What do you think - and has anyone read it? It sounds really good!

I loved this book, and I like the US cover so much better. I also like the US cover for the sequel more than the UK cover.

Definitely the US version, I paid a little extra just to get the US cover :) Haven't read it yet, though.

I've read this, and it blew my mind! Loved it.

I really prefer the US cover but I have the UK one because it was out first and I couldn't wait.

I actually like the UK version - I might just be having a less-is-more moment, but that red is fabulous! I've been meaning to read this one - I had to return it to the library before really getting into it. But it is definitely pretty!
